Our GP’s and dedicated team put your health needs above all else. We proudly operate out of a modern facility with state of the art medical equipment and we offer a tailored approach to each patient who visits us. We are conveniently located in Bowen.

Dr Arthur Trezise
MBBS, FACRRM
Dr Tresize has been with the practice from its creation 40 years ago. He has exceptional medical knowledge in all areas of general practice and emergency medicine. He has also mentored and supervised many doctors over the last few decades.
Dr Ramy Ibrahim
Dr Ramy Ibrahim Has Been Practicing Medicine Since 2009. He Started His Career Working At A Cardiology Department For 3 Years.
He Has Been Working As A GP For Over Ten Years Now Including Working In Emergency Departments And GP Practices.
Dr Ibrahim Came To Australia In 2018 When He Started Working As A GP On The Gold Coast, Then Started Also Working In Rural QLD And NSW.
Dr Ibrahim Has An Interest In All General Practice And Family Medicine With A Holistic Approach, With A Special Interest In Skin Cancer Medicine And Surgery, Mental Health.
He Has Had Advanced Training In Skin Cancer Surgery And Working Towards Full Accreditation By The Skin Cancer College With A Big Number And Experience In Skin Cancer Surgeries Including Flaps And Grafts.
Dr Jude Eri
Dr Eri has over ten years experience of experience as a medical doctor. He graduated from Nigeria where he worked majorly in a position akin to Australian rural generalist with a procedural skill in general surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology.
He relocated to Australia in 2021 from United Kingdom where he worked for 2 years as a Clinical Fellow in General and Acute Medicine with Northern Care Alliance NHS Trust, Greater Manchester, UK.
Dr Eri worked for a year as a Principal House Officer in General Medicine with Qld Health and moved interstate to Australian Capital Territory where he worked as a Registrar in Rehabilitation, Aged Care and Community Services with Canberra Health Services. Recently relocated to Bowen to pursue his General Practice fellowship program. He has interest in all aspects of the general practice.
Dr Mostafa Abdelghaffar
Dr. Mostafa has over 4 years of experience in general practice. Skilled in diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions, Dr. Mostafa is proficient in minor surgeries, chronic disease management, and emergency care.
Dedicated to patient education and preventive medicine. Dr. Mostafa is excited to bring this expertise to Bowen Doctors.
Dr M. Nizreen Kariapper
MBBS, MRCGP (INT)
Dr Nizreen is a highly experienced General Practitioner with over 25 years of clinical practice. He provides comprehensive, patient-centered care to diverse populations, emphasizing holistic well-being and preventive medicine. Skilled in emergency response, chronic disease management, and multidisciplinary teamwork.
Dr Nizreen is dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based healthcare and fostering continuous professional development within clinical teams.
Dr Nizreen works at Bowen Doctors Mon – Fri and some Saturdays.

Taryn is proud to offer a range of services to meet the needs of the local community.
As a nurse practitioner, Taryn is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered health care with a strong focus on primary health care and chronic disease management.
Taryn approaches each patient with compassion, building trust and providing individualized care that addresses both immediate needs and long-term health goals.
Taryn works at Bowen Doctors on Mondays & Tuesdays.
